VISAS INFO

 

If you are not able to obtain visa by yourself in your country ask for a help from us. The disadvantage is that you have to inform us and send your applications really in advance. The deadline for receiving visa applications: 14 May, 2010.

Under these circumstances please mark the required visas in the registration form. We will send you by email application forms and a form of authorization to the person who will apply in your name. Fill and sign forms and send them with your passport and other documents to:

Deadline: 2010.05.14.The set of required documents depends on the country you apply, so please make sure to receive a confirmation from us before sending documents to CROTOS.

GEORGIA

Citizens of the European Union, USA, Canada, Japan, Israel, Switzerland don’t need visa.

ARMENIA

We need tourist visa for 21 days. It is possible to get it on the border or in the airport in Yerevan (6 Euro). It costs 12 Euro in the Armenian Embassy in Warsaw, and it takes 7 days (they need filled application form, passport, photo and payment). For people under 18 years old for free.

IRAN

We need transit visa, which is valid 7 days and costs 30 Euro. Required documents:

-          filled application form http://www.iranemb.warsaw.pl/formularz%20wizowy2.pdf;

-          one colour photo en face (3/3,5 x 4/4,5 cm);

-          copy of the passport page with photo;

-          passport with valid visa for Turkey or a permission to climb Ararat or a ticket back home; the passport  must be with 2 blank visa pages together;

 

Note: holders of passports containing a visa for Israel (either valid or expired) will be refused entry to Iran under all circumstances.




TURKEY

For climbing to Ararat a normal tourist visa obtained on the border for 10 Euro or 15 USD is not valid. You need a special visa which costs 50 USD (permission to climb) + 250 PLN in the Turkish Embassy in Warsaw. It takes at least 8 weeks to get such visa. Required documents:

-          copy of the passport page with photo;

-          filled application form;

-          one colour photo, passport standard;

-          confirmation that you have enough money for such trip, for example from the bank account;

-          original confirmation that you transfer 50 USD for permit to climb Ararat to:

Armenia – 12 Euro

Iran – 30 Euro

Turkey:

 

-          visa without Ararat permit for those who will not climb the mountain  -  10 Euro PAID ON THE BORDER

-          visa with Ararat permit for those who will climb the mountain -              65 Euro

-          Ararat permit for citizens from countries with visa-free  entry  -               55 Euro

Fee for visas or permit assistance – 15 Euro
